In November, the parent book club group decided to begin the book, How to Make White People Laugh , by Negin Farsad. It's funny! So funny! Negin is an Iranian-American comedian and writes about her personal experiences as well as her critical observations of the world. There are copies of the book available to borrow -- on Christine's desk in the front office.  The next book club meeting will be on Wednesday January 5th, from 7:30-9:00 PM . All are welcome, including those who have not read the book. There are typically 4-8 parents who attend (and not always the same people). The invitation is to complete the book by January 5th -- this book is reading much faster than some of our past books!  At the January meeting, we will likely select another book to begin.   Contact: bookcluborganizer@ sewardmontessori.org (Katie Nissly)   Seward Montessori tiene un club de lectura para padres. It is a multi-player tagging game played inside a wildly creative obstacle course. But it is more than that: it is a Seward institution! Refined and distilled by former Physical Education Specialist Bill Garner (with the help of Seward students!) over the years and carried on by Physical Education Specialist Mrs. Huff, and the result of a lot of set-up and take-down work every year, it energizes our kids and helps bring our community together. You have to see it being played to fully appreciate it! Get a sneak peek at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06orUTlDYkQ ! Es un juego de atrapadas donde multiples jug
