Seward's Parent Book Club Kickoff Meeting: Wednesday, November 3, 7:30 p.m. via zoom

Hello Seward Parents! 

Seward's Parent Book Club's purpose is to build community and to reflect on race, racism and identity within Seward Montessori and in our lives. We will have a book club kickoff meeting to connect/re-connect, share what we've been reading individually, set intentions for the group, and make a decision about what to read as a community this year. 

If a new parent wants to take on organizing the book club, Katie (who has organized the book club the past two years) would be happy to support them.

News from Science: Karen Utter E1 Students Learning about Air E1 is learning about Air and Weather. So far we have learned that air is a gas and is all around us. We’ve been introduced to the terms: air resistance, compressed air and air pressure. Congratulations Mary Delander - we will miss you!

  Dear PTA, Spring is in the air.  And so is retirement. After 28 years, it's time to say goodbye. *I remember Melissa Ericksen before she was married. (Her children are now in college.) *I remember Anna Lethert as a Seward kindergartner. (Anna now teaches E-1) *I held Noah Mammen as a new born baby. (Noah is part of the Student Support team.) I've loved this job.   When I think of the PTA through the years, my heart fills with awe.  You've all made Seward the school that it is.  Strong in community.  A gift.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Topic: Hearing From Seward Educators About their Experience at Seward Time: Mar 10, 2022 06:30 PM Central Time Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: 895 6010 6336 Passcode: SHARKS   This will be open only to Seward parents, not to the larger community.    Seward union stewards Sue Backus (teachers union) and Aliina Adelman (ESP union) will be present.
