Seward's Annual Read Around takes place from February 7 - March 4, and this year's theme is Adventures in Reading! As part of the Read Around, we typically invite authors to come to Seward and share with students what it is like to be an author and how to write books.
E-1 students' author will be Siman Nuurali. Siman is a Minnesota author who grew up in Kenya. She has written Sadiq series that are based on the experiences of her own children. She has give children and they enjoy playing badminton and board games together. Simran is a new author who also works at Children's Hospital. She will be visiting Seward on Wednesday, February 9th. Due to COVID restrictions, the visits will be virtual this year.
